I didn't do much for the holiday; just went to my best friend's house.

We made cupcakes filled with filling and watched Coldplay live from Austin, TX.

I've been sick for the past two days. Not a good way to start the new year, but i will be fine.

Merry Christmas!

Hello, lovlies! I hope everyone had a great holiday with their families. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family.

My brother is getting married today, yes it's a weird day. But that is beside the point. So happy for him and my new sister in law!

I got fantastic Calvin Klein chukka boots and a new laptop for Christmas, also a beautiful fossil shirt, and a skirt. Lovely, so pleased.

One of my best friends and I went to the mall 2 days before Christmas and this is what we wore. I know, it's a terrible picture, but i just loved our outfits.

Nina (on the left) is wearing: A cotton black dress from target, leggings, black vans, and a striped cardi from forever 21.

I'm wearing: A jean jacket from American Eagle, red button up dress from Arie, tights from target, and combat boots from Bass.

loving all of these pieces.

--i have my essentials in my closet. but i never know how to wear it with more than just jeans... especially when it is chilly out. so i thought this would be helpful to everyone out there.

you can always match a nice blouse with jeans, to make it more casual of course. but outerwear can go either way. more laid back and fun with a preppy jacket, or you could make it more edgy by pairing it with a leather jacket..

and i just threw in cute accessories and makeup ideas, what do you think?
